Perfect for new Ham Tech licensees. Better is the enemy of good enough . This is perfect for the new ham to check out the antenna and cable installation particularly VSWR. The greatest accuracy is at the frequencies listed in the manual. It is not a laboratory instrument but for VSWR it is accurate enough across the bands for all practical purposes. I don t think the power measurement above 5 watts is good. Don t even think about using the supplied dummy load above 5 watts as you will smoke it and you need to do short tests because it gets real hot. I ran my HT and base station into a pro dummy load via a pro VSWR meter to make the comparisons so my conclusions are that this is good enough.Read full 71 customer reviews for Gam3Gear SURECOM SW-33 Mark II 100 W 125-525 Mhz Mini Digital VHF UHF Two-Way Radio Handheld Power SWR Meter at Amazon Reviews
